Moist and rather cold air masses will persist over the Alps.
To begin with, it will be dry but mostly cloudy across the region. Around midday, showers will develop in places, becoming more frequent in the afternoon. The snow line will be around 1,400 m.
Maximum temperatures will fall slightly further, ranging from 9°C to 13°C.
Improvement
On Saturday, a northerly wind will soon dry out the air in the valleys, whilst the mountains will remain unsettled for longer with a few showers. In the afternoon, the clouds will clear from the west.
On Sunday, any remaining localised clouds will soon clear, and it will be sunny across the region; the cumulus clouds in the afternoon will remain harmless.
Monday will bring sunshine with some cumulus clouds; localised rain showers are possible in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise again.
On Tuesday, the weather will continue with a mix of sunshine, clouds and localised showers.
